African Sweetheart Weddings: Love Is A Beautiful Thing- Cindy And Andy Obuoforibo

Andy and I met in 2005 for the very first time at my best friends birthday party but we just said hi to each other and nothing more. We where both in different relationships then and we never really saw again after that day, we would even board the same plane and not say hi to each other.

In 2010 February 17th (my birthday) I took some of my friends out to a wine bar to celebrate and he was there with his friends.  When I was leaving he came up to me and asked for my blackberry pin.

We chatted a bit and both parted ways again. The romance started off via bbm, we had a lot in common and fell madly in love with each other, that was how we started dating.

The Proposal
On the 24th of December 2012 Andy asked me to accompany him to a Christmas party in Government house Port Harcourt, little did I know he had all my sisters from Lagos and Abuja and my 2 best friends from Abuja and Lagos flown down to our best hangout joint in Port Harcourt.

I was so excited because his sister just came back from Amsterdam and I was looking forward to hanging with her.
When we got there, we went to the VIP room and I heard supriseee with my favourite song playing at the background ( We are young by FUN ).. Andy knelt down and popped the question, with love and tears in my eyes I accepted.

Our Traditional wedding took place on August 8th 2013 at my village Egbu, Ofeuzo in Owerri Imo State. Whilst our white wedding took place 2 days later on August 10th at Port Harcourt Atrium Hall.
