Accountant's Wife 'Murders Her Two Young Sons Before Killing Herself In Murder-Suicide In London Suburb'

Death
Some of the news we read nowadays is truly disheartening.

An accountant is thought to have returned home to find his wife had murdered their two young sons before killing herself in her family home.

The 33-year-old mother and her two boys - a five-year-old and his seven-month-old baby brother - were found dead in the family home in Harrow, north-west London.
Neighbours said that a Sri Lankan mother, who has an accountant husband, lived in the two-bedroom first floor maisonette.

Probe: Officers were called to the property in north-west London at 5pm yesterday evening. A woman and her two sons were found dead
All three people were discovered dead last night after police officers entered the property at 5.20pm.
An elderly man who lives near the house said a family had only recently moved in to the address.
Peter Wood said police were standing guard outside the property in Woodgrange Close, Harrow, but he had never spoken to the victims.
He said: 'They have not been here long and I have never even spoken to them.

'There are police outside. I don't even know where they come from.'
Leslie Gotts, who has lived in Woodgrange Close for 18 years, said the family, who are believed to be of Sri Lankan origin, had lived in the first-floor flat for about a year.
A neighbour had told him the children's father found their bodies along with that of his wife, he said.
Mr Gotts, 70, said: 'I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. You freeze.

'It's a quiet road, a very mixed community. I think I only saw her once. She didn't look very unhappy to me.'

He added: 'I thought maybe there was a burst water main, but then my neighbour said the Sri Lankan husband came home and found his wife and two children dead, and that the wife had killed the children and then committed suicide.'

Councillor Reg Colwill, who represents Kenton ward, said: 'I think everybody is the same, they are shocked at what's happened.

'If it's accurate that the woman took her own life she must have been at her wits' end and didn't ask for help, or didn't get the help she asked for. It's two young children, it's very sad.'
The children's deaths are being treated as murder while the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious and detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, Scotland Yard said.

Police said officers were called by London Ambulance Service to the address following reports of a woman and two children with injuries.
When they arrived, the three were pronounced dead by medical staff. Next of kin are aware, Scotland Yard said.
A post-mortem examination on the woman is due to take place at Northwick Park Mortuary at 3pm today, with further details relating to other post-mortem examinations yet to be announced.
